How to Install
The minimum requirements for this program is : Windows 2000,XP or Vista 32 (it is not yet suited for Vista 64)
see 'Known problems'. But will also work with the new Windows 7.
Installing IdleBackup
Run the setup program 'IdlebackupxxxSetup.exe'. Follow the instructions.
You will be asked to place a shortcut on the desktop, answer yes.
When the installation is finished the program can be started by double
clicking the desktop icon or from the windows 'All Programs' entry.
Deinstalling IdleBackup
The program can be removed by the normal windows deinstall
procedure. If the program was configured to autostart then this settings
will also be removed. The directory together with some data file
are not automatically removed. If a new version is installed however,
the advantage is that all settings are kept.
The direct executable version does not need an install or deinstall, it works from any directory.
